How it works
Play games, get players.
Spawnswap is a swap between Roblox developers. You play someone else's game, they (or someone else) play yours. Credits keep it fair.
The one rule: 1 credit = 1 real player
every time you play another developer's game for 10 minutes and leave a short review.
every time a real player does the same for your game: plays it for 10 minutes and reviews it.
So yes: to get one player, you spend one credit, and that player earns one for playing. Nobody pays to play.
An example
- 1
Alex signs up and links a Roblox account
Alex adds a short code to their Roblox profile so we know the account is really theirs. The first 30 developers also start with 20 free credits. - 2
Alex plays 3 games from other developers
10 minutes each, plus a review of at least 20 characters. Alex now has 3 credits, and can post a game. - 3
Alex adds a game and asks for 3 players
The 3 credits are set aside for the game. It now shows up on the Play & earn page for other developers. - 4
Three people play Alex's game
Each one plays 10 minutes and writes a review. Each one earns 1 credit. Alex gets 3 real players and 3 pieces of feedback. - 5
Alex wants more players
Play more games to earn more credits for free, or buy a pack to skip the playing.
If you just want to play
Browse trailers on the homepage, play what looks good, like and comment on game pages. It's all free. Playing through Play & earn also gives you credits, in case you make a game later.
If you made a game
Every player you get played for real and left a review, so you learn what works and what to fix. Add a 10 to 30 second trailer: games with a trailer are shown first.
Buying credits
Optional. Earning by playing is always free.
- 50 credits = 50 players$5.00
- 120 credits = 120 players$10.00
- 300 credits = 300 players$20.00
Spotlight on the homepage
Put your trailer at the top of the homepage: $3.00 for 1 day, $7.00 for 3 days, $10.00 for 7 days. Needs a trailer.
